Jesus Had a Trade “J.H.A.T,” is a 2-4 year mentorship program whose mission is to engage, inspire, and empower youth and adults to use trades as the beacon of light to navigate through life.

Our Mission

1. Engage with youth and adults to educate them on the various opportunities in the trades.

2. Inspire youth and adults to find their talents, passions and skill sets to apply towards a specific trade skill.

3. Empower youth and adults to use trades as a career path to lead to management, entrepreneurship or college prep.

Program Breakdown

Cohorts

Based on participants interest and professional goals, we will break them down into the following three cohort groups:

The goal of the program is to coach individuals into resourceful and skilled tradesmen for today’s job market.

We will achieve this by implementing the 5 pillars of production training plan.

  • FAMILY- Overcoming past hardships, mental health issues, and parenting struggles to overall build stronger family foundations.

  • FINANCE- Managing, saving and budgeting with FREE professional tax preparation and filing counseling.

  • HEALTH- Adopting healthy eating habits and fitness to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

  • WEALTH- Building generational wealth through multiple streams of incomes; including money markets, stocks and real estate.

  • TECHNOLOGY- Learning the basics of technology and coding to prepare students for the world’s technological advances.

jAMIE Cardiff Cohort

Cohort focuses on individuals interested in union, heavy civil, constructions and commercial skilled trades. Heavy equipment operations, laborers, heavy equipment maintenance, road building, iron working, electrical, plumbing, and laborers along with several others.

Theo Hamiter cohort

Cohort focuses on individuals interested in non-union, heavy civil, constructions and commercial skilled trades. Heavy equipment operations, laborers, heavy equipment maintenance, road building, iron working, electrical, plumbing, and laborers along with several others.

Leander Merritt Cohort

Cohort focuses on individuals interested in using skilled trades as college prep to enhance their career path in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics fields.
